Fried cheesecake? Be still, my heart (quite possibly literally).
Last year was my first time going to the Indiana State Fair, and I must say that it was, well, an experience not to be missed. At the very least, the concept of a world where it is not only permissible, but encouraged to dip everything in batter and fry the crap out of makes me a little bit proud to be an American.
I see that Tam has also posted about this, with roughly the same reaction that I had.

That sounds awesome. Except that my blood vessels may not agree, but screw them.
Plus, everything is better on a stick.

The Scots have been deep frying pizza for years, and for dessert… deep fried frozen Mars bars.
